KALAHIRA LIVE :- Taking another step towards improving health services for villages. One fully equipped mobile medical unit has been launched today to provide essential healthcare facilities for villagers residing surrounding villages.On 15.10.2025, Wednesday the program was formally inaugurated by Chief Guest Shri. Vijay Chand Executive Director, in august presence of Shri Prabeer Kumar General Manager (Mechanical Erection), Dr. Bharati Singh CMO, Shri. Sahadev Sahoo Sarpanch, HODs and other senior officials of NTPC-TTPS.The programme was started with, lighting of lamp, Coconut breaking, ribbon cutting inspecting the newly deployed Mobile Medical Unit. Dr. Bharati Singh CMO has briefed the chief Guest that, The Mobile Medical Unit is equipped to provide primary healthcare, minimum diagnostic, and preventive services. The MMU will carter healthcare services cover approximately 45 nearby Villages to provide Maternal & Child Health initiative focuses on safe motherhood, immunization, nutrition, and health education. Together, these initiatives aim to improve overall health indicators in the surrounding.While addressing the gathering Chief Guest Shri Chand has shared that running of Mobile Medical Unit by TTPS which will provides healthcare benefits to, mostly Women, Senior Citizen, children and villagers directly at their doorsteps with free medicines.The villagers appreciated initiatives taken by TTPS on health service.
