Talcher, 28 November 2025: NTPC Talcher Thermal Power Project organised Sangam 50, a warm and nostalgic get-together for its retired employees. The event saw the joyful participation of around 500 former colleagues who once powered the growth and success of TTPS with their unmatched dedication. The celebrations began at 10 a.m. Retired employees were welcomed with rose buds, tilak, Anga-vastra and a sweets box, creating an atmosphere filled with respect and affection.The gathering honoured the people who laid the strong foundation of this project. Many retired employees travelled from far to be part of this special day. Their heartfelt smiles, blessings and pride filled everyone with deep emotion. They expressed immense happiness on seeing their colleagues after ages and felt grateful to be remembered with such affection and graceful welcome.The event was formally inaugurated by Shri Vijay Chand, Executive Director, Talcher Thermal extended his gratitude and spoke about the lasting contribution of every retired employee in shaping TTPS. The event was also graced by Dr. J P Roy, General Manager Project, Mr. Praveer Kumar, General Manager Mechanical Erection, Mr. Rohit Kumar, Additional General Manager HR, all Heads of Departments and senior officials of NTPC TTPS.Sangam 50 was a tribute to the spirit of togetherness. The legacy of our seniors continues to guide and inspire the entire TTPS family. Their contribution will always remain an integral part of our journey forward.
